Commander Spock [Mirror]

The most logical response to this situation would have to let James Kirk's luck finally fail him and take the Enterprise out of orbit while he was being executed. However, it seemed that Kirk's illogic was contagious, because Spock found himself risking his own neck to break a few of the guards' that were overseeing Kirk's cell.

He silently tried to rationalize his behaviour, telling himself that he did not want to be Captain, thus this was his best choice of action, and pretending he was not doing this for McCoy's sake, and most certainly not for Kirk's.

He pressed one of the guard's hands to the cell door, causing it to slide open. "Captain, I would suggest that we be leaving now."

It was dangerous to do this, but Spock could not find it within him to care. It could be considered a scientific experiment, to see if he could repeat the results of the past change of universes. Perhaps this time, he could go there, physically, and not put any of them in danger.

He might do it even if it would.

When he stepped off the transporter pad, he headed for the merged quarters that were not his, trying to avoid any contact with the U.S.S. Enterprise crew.

It had taken Spock a long time to get to sleep, though he realized it was irrational to become anxious over the turn of events. Marlena had spoken the truth, and he had to be true to his own word, at least for now. He would figure out a way to turn the tables back later on. For now, it was useless.

He woke early as he always did, sliding out of bed quietly, in an attempt not to wake McCoy. He paused as the air hit his bare chest; it was significantly colder than he kept his room normally. He tensed, wondering if Scotty was trying his game again, but it seemed to be a steady temperature, and it was a fairly respectable our in the morning.

Calling the lights up were his first thought, but he stopped when he glanced around the room. The dimensions were wrong, furniture were in different places; this was not his room.

Spock stood his ground for a moment, before allowing his Captain to manoeuvre him back against the desk. It was not as if Jim could truly pin him, not without the aid of very strong bonds. He would allow him this little bit.

Whether or not this entire situation was a wise decision, Spock was not sure. But this galaxy, this ship, was of the opinion that you took what you wanted. And despite his logic, Spock did want this.

This game should be quite interesting.
